I would suggest going through all the steps again including setting BT PIN and then reloading your tune into the V2. Always the possible that a mistake was made the first time.
There is no bluetooth pin on the 17's is there? And this has nothing to do with tune uploading. V2 works fine. My Tunerview app loads but doesn't get readings from the V2.

BT PIN is in the Ktuner PC software. It was put in to help the 2018's, but I don't know if it would work with the 2017's too. It is just an option.

Same issue I have and I've seen others here with the same glitch. The Tunerview rep here has responded with surprise but it's clearly a common problem and not good at all. As barebones and basic as my Hondata app was, it connected 100% of the time.
I fixed mine. Connecting everytime I have started the car. I made sure my tuner was paired to the Hu. Once paired change the BT Pin to Advance. Open Tunerview and connect through the menu. Make sure you have it set to auto connect. I did unpair my smartphone from the Hu to have only one device connected during the process.

...so... I'm scanning through the thread as it's been awhile. Did we get 2018s HUs to work via Bluetooth to a 1.2v? Is it time to 'downgrade' from my 2.0 to a 1.2 yet? ;)

I use tunerview on my 18 si HU all the time! Sometimes it doesn't connect the first time but I would say it is successful 90% of the time. I know I can data log but I haven't really done any so I am not a good one to talk to about my experiences with it. I will say they figured it out, it was fairly simple to install, and it works. I don't remember how to do it though. I would have to relearn it. I use it daily to check on my gauges. I want to figure out how to have the tunerview come up on start up.

Yeah... I've only kept my V2 in the car after flashing to see how the car takes to it. I don't like a cord running around in the car and it hanging out in the car. I wouldn't mind just a dongle style thing any my HU providing all the info though.

You set that feature up on Honda Hack. Go to the app and there should be an option there or in the settings in the app itself.
