Features You'd Trade for Other Features

About 3,000 miles in, I have started musing about aspects of the car I'd gladly trade for some other quality or feature.

I would trade the standard sunroof for rear cross-traffic alert...

I would trade fifty pounds of lightness for more sound deadening in the doors and less tinny rattling in the interior...

The two suspension/driving modes for the availability of Honda's 8-speed DCT...

The right mirror camera for a touchscreen that was an inch bigger and wasn't as buggy and laggy...

In an ideal world I'd also have an auto-dimming mirror and a power driver's seat, but I can't think of anything else I'd trade away.

What about you?

id trade my heavy ass sunroof for a manual handbrake.

although i use the sunrood frequently when its nice out, id still prefer the weight loss.

I would trade the brake hold function for a manual handbrake.

I'd also trade the mirror camera for a heated steering wheel.

Funny, I actually like the electric handbrake. I don't spend much time drifting through snowy Norwegian forests these days...

I'd trade rain sensing wipers for a heated steering wheel any day of the week. Hate those damn things.

I'm mildly disappointed you changed your photo - it was iconic. Anyways, is that something you can actually feel? Or is this because you autocross? Just curious, never actually thought about that advantage in terms of not having a sunroof.

they're bloody terrible dude. Search the forum, you'll find loads of complainers like me. Basically they can't seem to distinguish between very light and very heavy rain and end up going full tilt on a nearly dry windshield.

Ill trade my cup holders for a spare tire in my Si coupe
Definitely trade my electronic e brake for manual.... Idk how many times my foot is on the brake & I press down to release it. Ask me if it released it smh ‍

Ah interesting question. Well we firstly did trade electronic safety nannies, shitty wheels and powered leather seats for performance goodies and looks in our Sis. As for what I’d swap current on Si? Hmm, I’d maybe trade the back seats, well...for nothing. Or maybe Subway lunch

Naah, I like it. Change is good and he’s proud of the Si, as we all are, and we appreciate seeing our members rides. So why not show it??!! But then, that’s coming from a giant hotdog

everyday my Si makes me more proud to own it! earlier it was 70 degrees and sunny. i just washed her and i was amazed how beautiful she looked. it was like a hot woman, i couldnt stop checking her out! definitely my favorite civic ive ever owned.

Si in black and especially squeaky clean and shiny, to me, it looks an awful lot like Airwolf for some reason, especially coming at you. My favorite profile of the car, again when clean and waxed, is standing 4 to 5 feet back, between drivers door and rear wheel and just looking at those seductive hips, wheels/tires and whole rear end, then glancing leftward toward the front end. It’s not a Ferrari, but whoa, what a sexy gnarly car this is.
Just a small tip; get a pure lambs wool duster, like Mr. Siga off Amazon and lightly brush the surface of the car from time to time or in between washes

I'd trade the wireless charging pad for adaptive cruise control, the bad floor mats for good ones with the Si logo on them, and android auto for a hole in the firewall to run a power cable through so I could install my subs and amp (too gun shy to drill one).
