What did you do to your Civic today? (II)

Finally got to add my new license plate & took it for a wash. Was then able to add some smoked side markers, husky matts & sill protectors. Some before and after photos for anyone looking to add the same things. Next thing I see myself doing is a chrome delete.

Fully expose to natural light after 2 days of storage bc of a thunderstorm. Shout out to the steep drive way for allowing me to add more screws on underneath the lip even though it did scrape right after these photos lol

I am quite surprised that the dash cam and the toll pass is not showing in the picture. I should look at it sometime today and pat myself in the back if it really is not noticeable up front

do you, possibly, have pictures of the fuse tap you did for the dash cam?

I finished tinting my interior lights.

Car hasn't got any wax since the day i bought it. Every car wash was done at a drive-thru one. Not sure what the carwash shop uses.

Got the auto dimming/compass mirror in today. Will be installing probably this weekend.

Technically aftermarket, but was sold to me as OEM new on eBay. It doesn’t have the OEM harness, so it will require me wiring in an add-a-fuse to the ignition fuse to do it properly. They gave me some wire taps, but I don’t like that method. Other than that small difference, it’s 99% OEM. I find this one better because it even has an on/off button for the dimming, where OEM Honda doesn’t. Also, this is the same brand as what Honda and other car manufacturers sell.

Only set me back $65 vs $250+ from dealer.

Good thing we ordered a spare so I can take a photo
It came with some connector(?) to a ground but the person who helped me (who actually connected them wirings) had to use the spare.

As for the adaptor, I only have the product image. I was not able to get a photo prior to installing. I got the angled one.

Gave my type r spoiler parts to an automotive painter, so hopefully in a few days I can get it installed :/

husky Xact contour floorliners. Had Weathertech but didn't like them.

I have been working on several things. I ordered Acuity Instruments parts. Can't wait to get these on.


Started the process of painting my new ikon front lip. Busted the last one, and this time I am painting it to match the body color. I got it all primed and sanded, and ready for paint.

Old piece of tow strap in my garage. Installed to the car by using the same plastic snap-on bolt on the hatch. Just have to make a hole/cross on the strap first.
