I love you guys and your products but prl has this one dead to rights with the cobra. There's not another intake out there that comes close to it unfortunately. I think the carbon fiber would be cool but the intake market is pretty saturated as it is and you're not bringing anything game changing to the table with it. Which makes me believe you can spend r&d funds on a better project.

I agree with @givemeadollar where the intake market is saturated.

You're probably right, in that the intake market is saturated... it sucks because I honestly love making parts for you guys and I like combining the newest stuff and ideas with your platform. The PRL intake works well... that is a fact... I have done side by side testing of the PRL versus ours and even an enhanced prototype of our design...and I can say nothing bad out the PRL other than at the end of the day, I want people to be able to have the option of going for a full MAP build if they want... a lot of people don't really care and they mix and match brands... and so you might be totally right. It's something I will have to think about more and I appreciate your feedback!

I'm not in any way bashing your products and if you want to make an intake that will compete with prl, carbon fiber isn't the way to go. You have to get a larger maf with hondata/ktuner support. Because when push comes to shove people want performance gains from the performance parts they put on. And currently prl is the only one I know of that is offering anything like it.

Absolutely! And they are pretty entrenched to boot... I totally get that and I think your insights are completely "right on the money"

The MAP intake sounds much better. It is on my girlfriends car. She is pretty much stock besides some suspension. On the other hand, i have a full MAP cattted turbo back. With the PRL intake I ran fine. I Switched to the MAP, super hot and rich. Back to the PRL

I’d be interested in a plastic version of your intake, I’m worried about heat with the stainless steel design down here in south Florida. I also worry about hydrolock being down here so the cobra isn’t much of an option for me. I’ve been trying to decide between your intake, 27wons, and a Prl race short ram for a while now. Your maf is a bigger size isn’t it? Also what’s this about an enhanced prototype? Any chance of selling that to me :hmm:
