Thanks. And it doesn't look funky having a section of tint missing? Or is the camera assembly so dark that you can't notice? I'm trying to find pics of someone with the brow and Sensing but no luck so far.

My car has rayno s9 and I love it. It does block about 90% of heat as it claims and I'm very satisfied and happy because it sure does keep away lot of heat. I live in central texas almost 100degrees everyday. Did. 35%,20% and my windshield. Cost me 450.

60% 3m crystalline for $180. Turns out to be 48% VLT overall, due to factory tint. Got a great price and a professional install with lifetime accidental warranty included.

There are various factor that lead to refraction. Quality of tint and adhesive, installer and how they press around the defroster lines, how thick the defrosters are, and the angle of the glass. I have not had the issue with the Llumar CTX on my 16 Civic but I see a little on the 3M Color Stable on my 14 Civic.

I am not too trusting... How do you know if the vendor is installing Rayno S5 or S9??

How do you know if you are getting Llumar ATC or CTX?

There is some incentive to cheat here.

Can you tell by looking at the product.

You have them show you their actual product and labels on the boxes...also how reputable the dealer is you are working with...consumer awareness

Yes............. buddy had that thought and asked for packaging materials and to see box AFTER job was done. (He waited for car so he was right there when they were done.)

They could not produce anything. Clearly a scam. He got S5 and paid for S9. May happen more often than you think. Be careful.

Did he get a cert and warranty from the installer?

I went with formula 1 stratos in 30% all around except windshield where I went with 50%. Definitely a bit pricey but well worth the investment.

Warranty ....yes. But it is generic and does not indicate the product used. Certification............no. Never heard of this. Please describe. Is this for law enforcement so they know how dark you are? Dores this typically show the product?

My warranty includes info on which brand and product used and for which window along with receipt.

OK... I am sold on Rayno S9. However, no one stocks it in Wisconsin......they said it was too expensive to stock. can't even give me a quote. They seemed scared of this product. Afraid of wrecking it and having to eat the cost? Is it harder to install?

Does this sound fishy?

Does anyone have recommendation on tinting service for a Llumar CTX or Rayno S5 around San Diego area?
I was quoted for $350 and was looking around to see if there are better quotes out there.

Before and after of Llumar CTX. 15 on sides and back and sunroof. 50 on windshield. Paid 335 all in
