There's a DSP class for the FK8? I thought it was just DS and STU.
prepared is always available depending on mods and if one runs r-comps but doesn't want to be in SMF.
just have to abide by section 17 of the rules for allowed prepared modifications

for anyone interested in the ezcarlift, Boytcho is the contact and website is https://www.ezcarlift.com/

i have been using it since 2012 with MY03 AP1. model XM64 with limited space kit so it can be easily moved from my garage to my carport if needed, ramp extension kit for use with MY18 FK8 and four hockey pucks since the lift points are higher than the side skirts/diffusers :D

here's a pic after it's annual service yesterday

Cheaters suck! Why don't you just protest them? Typically when you go up to people and just ask them about the car and casually ask about mods, they'll reveal themselves and you can correct them. Happened to me last season with a kid in a Volkswagon with a fat turbo trying to run in Street Class. Like, bruh...how do you not see that's cheating? The chiefs at events wont have it either. They're pretty good about making sure people are in the appropriate class. It's just a shame you have to be the one to adjust to other people when YOU are doing the right thing.

i spoke to them last year (one in PAX and one in rookie) about their tuned vehicles. was given the same i am not tuned story.
had my good friend @RedFK8 run at our TNT (from big island) and he confirmed they are definitely tuned (17 FK8 and FoRS).
perhaps it's time to talk to the chiefs but i don't have any evidence other than what we've seen and heard locally

It’s pretty hard to catch someone with a tune. Something like an inter cooler or blow off valve is obvious because you can hear it. Wheels are a big deal as people can have the wrong width and offset. Wouldn’t you be able to see an accessport or something? I always have my suspicions about people and their mods, but if I’m beating them then I usually don’t care to ask.

yeah, the PAX FK8 wheels are definitely illegal. if he stays PAX, someone will protest. @REVN556 are you tuned?

No. I’m going to eventually build a new motor when I pay the car off. Too many guys blowing up their motors with tunes and warranty doesn’t cover. I also don’t wanna move to STU unless I have coilovers and camber plates. A built motor will move me to ASP so I’m doing things progressively. Plus, this is gonna be my second full season and I want a few seasons in Street class until I class up.

Lmfao my buddy says your tuned!
There will be no Cobb Accessport or any other tuning medium touching my vehicle. Y'all can stay with your blown head gaskets trying to get your warranty service from Ford. Good luck :D.

Who's your buddy anyways? I literally never had anyone come up to me at any event to ask me about my car. I've shot the shit with a blue STI owner and a Blue CTR owner over a race where I ran the wrong modifier.

Long story short, I thought since the turn of the year for 2019, we were going with 2019 rules which placed my vehicle in D Street. Turns out, Hawaii only uses the previous year rulebook for the entire year. So I ran a B Street modifier until the test and tune.

If we ever get a shot after an event for fun runs, I’ll let you take it out for a run! I got a ride with a roomie that had a CTR and loved the interior and how smooth those cars car. I wish I could own both and RS and a CTR!
