Want to keep my Rays Gram Lights from the SI

I just bought a fk8 this week and I'm thinking I should keep my 18x8.5 +36 Rays Gram Light 57CRs from my SI. I know they aren't the same bolt pattern, but I'm struggling with a good 5x120 to 5x114.3 hubcentric adapter. I don't know if there would be any offset issues too. I know some of you will suggest trying to sell the Rays and get something else, but I would hate to loose money when selling and buying.

A +36 wheel is already aggressive for a lot of setups on the Type R. If you use an adapter (which pushes the wheel out further) it'll make it even worse.

Plus a 18x8.5” is a waste of space. Sell them and buy a CTR size and bolt pattern. Not worth it

I guess after reading this post ... the Gram Light 57CR 18 x 8.5 +38ET (in the 5 x 120 pattern) is not recommended for the CTR. I was also thinking about this wheel for my CTR. I good option instead of the $$$ TE37s.

Why aren't they recommend for the FK8? Not arguing, just curious.

We need a higher offset.

Anything that pushes the wheels further out will give you more/worse torque steer issues.
