Yes its all based on adjustment. If you keep everything loose enough to be manipulated it can tuck extremely tight. So tight it could rattle against the chassis. People are not properly adjusting the piping to tuck correctly. A lot has to do with the resonator piping the angle you place that at will determine how tight the exhaust fits. If you have that pipe tightened down at the wrong angle it will throw everything off. People need to leave that front v-band loose. I have installed multiple MAP exhausts on the new SI models and that is what I have found.

I would love to get this exhaust, but no center exit on my civic exhaust. Maybe make an option for y pipe dual exit with turn downs a possibility? I know it sounds far-fetched since the center exhaust exit is the most popular on this generation civic and the type of exhaust I have on mine isn't as comming. Thought I'd at least share my feedback.

I really wish this exhaust system just used 3 bolt flanges. That would take all of the guess work out of it. I particularly hate the slip joint clamp on this system. I just want to be able to hang it, bolt it together and have a factory like appearance and fit.

Slip joint clamp was a lazy and quite stupid choice, not going to lie. I tightened mine then tack welded it so hopefully that piece of crap will stay put.

Question for all the members that currently have Map exhaust.

I am in the market for a rear diffuser. Does anyone have one yet?

Bmspec, Aeroflow all said our exhaust is to wide. Hopefully someone else has had better luck then me!

This is solid feedback. It's a super good perspective to have... we HAD to use slip clamps on some of our systems with dual exits where customers needed a bit of wiggle room to get their systems completely lined up to their satisfaction. I will farm this back to the team. Thanks for the heads up
