1.5T PRL Motorsports 1.5T Civic Bolt-On Big Turbo Kit Upgrade Results

You have to consider these kits all shipped at the beginning of winter...spring is finally around the corner and my SI isn't my daily and weather in Mass is finally turning warmer so I'm finishing up my tune. On 23.5psi right now and the car hauls ass...also there has been plenty of talk on Facebook and other social media channels about these kits. There's a couple over 400whp+ and another coming soon that I know of. Lot of info doesn't always get posted in forums these days. I still plan to make a write up when I'm done and get on the Dyno for numbers.

Do you by any chance have links to said social media channels? I like to gather as much info as I can on what I want before I get it, and am eager to see how the installs are going and what power numbers they are putting down.

Cortex EBC for boost and meth control.
Prl CAI, race maf
Snow performance meth injection system
VP M1 99%methanol
Flex fuel kit, E30 most likely
Full 3" exhaust, custom
Clutchmasters fx350, with single mass flywheel.

I'll be making a thread after install, beginning of April. I get tuned beginning of May

Everything is waiting to go in, just waiting for a little more snow meltage

Not getting to experience this kit on my SI is my one regret after trading for a Type R. I'd imagine that it's going to be a blast for you guys!

@PRL Motorsports Im fully planning on purchasing this but i do have a question.. Should i only purchase your front pipe since the downpipe comes with this kit instead of purchasing the fp/dp combo?

I'll chime in since I have the kit, yes you'll only need a frontpipe as the kit comes with the choice of a catted or catless downpipe specific to this kit

What kind kind hp would looking at in a 2017 hatchback sport without e85 since I cant get it in my area

You'll be able to use our turbo kit as it will fit to all 1.5T civics. Power wise it will depend on what you are tuning for, our turbo kit will be able to handle far beyond what the civic can handle with currently available mods. The internals on the Si or type R models are much stronger than the base models so this will be your limiting factor.

Hi all! Are there any good options for a stronger rotating assembly for the L15B7 yet? I've noticed some articles around the web and youtubers having issues after reaching the 350 torque numbers. These parts look amazing but I'm just a little worried about the factory rods being able to handle it? Thanks PRL for all this great info and for making such great parts!

not yet, running a temporary tune from Derek. till i can get dyno tuned by him in May! even on this tune it's pretty exciting. making a full thread with videos soon.
