Anyone have pics of install? I'm a complete idiot with things like this.
i didn't go step by step in my photos, but install the self tapping screws loose so you can adjust. for the rear bottom location make a small pilot hole so you can install the spring nut.
below was taken from here: https://www.civicx.com/threads/offi...on-fiber-rock-flaps-by-oldskoolfab-inc.29002/

for those wondering here is honda hardware i used:

6 each, 5x20 tapping screws (part no 90114-SE0-A01) and 2 each, 5 mm spring nuts (part no 90331-SD5-003) for the bottom of the rear bumper.
i opted the for the above tapping screws since they have a floating washer for more surface area to secure the rock flap and less chance of cracking them.

photos from MY18 install:

Ok so I put them on tonight.

I want to say that I bought these months ago, last year. I was reluctant to put them on because I really like the aggressive look of the car and felt that any rally inspired flaps would look horrible. Even when I test fitted them I was like meh. Well I couldn’t be more wrong. These do look very low profile, and you will see that with my ET40s that it’s perfect. Anything less with these offsets and you will still risk damage.

On to the install.

I used a PH2 bit, and a short stubby to get the work done. You will need to turn the wheel to get extra space and leverage for the self tapping screws. Otherwise you COULD try by hand to start it. I did this with one to see if I could, and it’s possible.

If you desire to do the bottom rear, you will have to take the wheels off so you can drill. Do not attempt to self tap the body. It will crack. I’ve seen that happen on other cars. As it was already late for me I will drill soon. I ordered the same Honda spring nut previously mentioned.

I actually used 4 self tapping screws, two each front side. Part number 90114-SE0-000 I expect to use two more, one on each rear side once I finish the drilling and mounting.

I retained the use of all the existing liner screws, as they looked superior in quality to the 000 tapping screws above. Also they seemed sufficient to hold the carbon down. As always be careful when tightening. Always back off when you hear the carbon making noises. :)

1. Clean the area where the flaps go. Might as well. I used some window cleaner, as it was just enough to help get the grime off. I used paper towels, no need for anything else. I made sure to spray on the towel and not on the body. If you spray the body, consider some spray wax right after in the area.
2. Unscrew the liner screws. Start from the bottom. Go slow. Be gentle. Your close to the paint.
3. Grab the flaps and gently hold up against the liner. Note, you should clean them pre and post install.
4. Use the liner screws and mount the flap, paying attention to always hold the flap against the body, else it will want to travel with the screw. Being carbon you want to limit any contact with the screw while torquing. Also do not finally tighten just yet. Keep it loose so you can focus on using the tapping screws.
5. Grab the tapping screws and thread them through the provided holes of the flap toward the center of the square liner tab. Apply pressure and focus on the middle, the self tapping screws will do all the work. Repeat for the other square liner tab. Understand that these can strip the liner tab, so tighten them until they’re tight but not when they’re about to give way or break the carbon.
6. Gently tighten each screw tighter. You want to slowly and evenly tighten each screw bottom to top in waves. Do not over tighten. The reason to go bottom to top are the bottom screws are already going through threaded nuts and this will provide the best strength as well as support instead of relying initially on the self tapped liner tabs above.

Here are some pictures. You’ll see the liner tabs, the 000 screws compared to the existing ones, and a reference of the profile.

I'm interested in buying these, but I dont know shit about cars and this is my first manual car lol. I was just driving in a parking lot and heard rocks being thrown around almost instantly will this help (main reason why i want them). Also can I install these without taking the tires off pretty easily myself?

the front, no issues, but the rear i would take off the wheels unless you have a 90 degree angle drill.

Thanks for your post! I noticed you said the screws that were previously on there were better quality than the 90114-SE0-000 screws. I believe I have found the ones that were used (90103-TA0-000)

Do you think I should order these instead?

Want to mention that the USDM sourced version of these are coated or painted black, where the UK ones are bronze/copper ish in color.
