There was a guy on the Facebook group selling his. $1200 for each one which is absolutely stupid. You can get you’re entire interior upgraded and redone in leather for $1200

Buying the seats through discount sellers online would be about $1,800 each plus shipping.
$1,200 sounds like a pretty good deal.

lol that dude hates hard on type R's but yet he's in every R related thread.
I don’t hate them. They are just pure racing cars and I don’t see the need to own one to drive to work and back. If you buy it because you race officially and not street racing then I feel it’s a fantastic purchase. The new genesis g70 costs about the same amount and that is a worthwhile car for daily driving. If you read the car and driver sticky thread where the type r placed third they only used cars that were performance based and not casual or luxury based.

Lol dude you have no idea. In comfort mode it’s 90% as comfortable as your car. We can smell the jealousy

There’s a passenger seat on eBay for 1000 bucks in good shape an 2 drivers with air bag deployed forget how much.. I wouldn’t pay over 1000 each an own a type r. There’s nothing special about the seat it isn’t a recaro. Personally I don’t think there that comfortable the seats in the R

Seat with the airbag deployed damages the frame...I would not recommend buying one if those unless you know how to weld in replacement frame components.
