Just curious - on the base-maps provided by ktuner, does the Si make more power than the Hatchback (6MT)

EG: If I run the 21PSI basemap tune on both, will the Si be making more HP/TQ?

Yes, The Si has a more efficient turbo than the other 1.5t trims.

Oh ok that's cool.

Can't wait to see the different from just a flash since i'll be going from the hatchback 6spd that was running a custom tune by vit @ 23 PSI to an Si

Here are the basmaps that Hondata and Ktuner have for the stock Si. MAPreformance has a tune for $75 that is similar to Vit's tune. They give it free if you buy a tuner from them.

Don't forget to upgrade your clutch if you use a tune.

Sorry to hijack the thread but this comment applies to me. I'm running a Ktuner with stage 1 vit tune, K&N SRI and a RV6 downpipe/front pipe. So far, I haven't had any issues with shifting. Anything in particular I need to look out for?

So long as you're not going full (or more than 50%) throttle in the higher gears (4th - 6th) from low rpms (below 3500 rpm), your clutch should be okay for a while, if you're not constantly beating on it.
