Nah you’re not to old for yellow when I bought my 2018 ext I turned 50 now turning 51 if they had the yellow in 2018 I would have gotten it plus I live in Florida and there’s a lot of guys in their 90s driving yellow corvettes
I had a yellow C 6...sold it when I hit 71...needed to build a a detached garage for other car projects...Since then I have owned a Z 3, a Mini Cooper JCW, Focus ST...bought the 2019 Civic Si coupe 3 months ago...

I am 80 an I drive a 2017 SI coupe.It is modified and I invested more than 6000 dollars.Now, I like it very much.
I had my first SI in 1990...the last were one 2009, one 2013, but 2017 one is my prefered because it is very powerful
and has an incredible handling with four Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. It is the most elaborate and the most balanced
version, it lacks only power and has remedied it.
I bought it without seeing it. I wanted almost 2 months and I was the first to have a 2017 SI in my city.
It was june 29, 2017.
I am in good shape and I like to ride fast, very fast...
I am realistic and i think it is probably my last SI, maybe my last car.
When i am going to die,if they do an autopsy, they will find the SI letters engraved on my heart.
That's awesome...I thought I might be the oldest at 76. Like you, good health for the most part, been a Sports Car Club of America member for nearly 35 years, and owned CRX Si's and Civic Si from 88 to 91. Bought a Neon ACR for Autocross and kept it several years as well. Also owned and autocrossed Corvette, VW GTi, Mini Cooper JCW, Ford Focus ST. I bought my 2019 Si Coupe 3 months ago, and just finished my 3rd autocross with it today. Still enjoy doing my own tuning, alignments, suspension mods, etc. Bad knees have limited that but still do most of my own stuff in my own garage. Hope you continue to enjoy your Si...

I just signed up to reply to this thread! I'm 42 and I can't tell you how much I thought about being my age and buying an Si. Thought it was a young punk's car! :) Glad to see I'm far from alone!

60 years young here! Love this car. You can have fun with your right foot or get into trouble with it. On top of that, 35mpg overall since I bought it. No mods, yet. Might get a tune after the warranty is up.

I am 36; this is my third SI. Prior to the 10th gen; my favorite was my EM1. I miss the pure rawness of the vtec in the previous models, but overall the 10th gen is superior to all the other model years.

Will be 25 in June. Just purchased my first Honda to mostly be used as a daily. My other car is a mostly-cosmetically modified BMW 135i that I’ve had for about 5 years now. I’m really really enjoying the Si and I’m currently trying to fight the mod bug lol.

I'll turn 34 this summer. This is my fourth Honda coupe. Prior to this, I had an 8th gen Si, a base RSX, and an RSX-S at various times. I just really like what you get out of these little cars. A lot of great features and performance considering what they cost.

The 10th gen is the best overall car, for sure. I do miss that RSX-S dearly, though!

This thread makes me smile. So awesome to see older people enjoying their cars! I'm 28 and grew up in a family with a lot of mechanics and was always wrenching with my dad. I hope I'm still modding and enjoying my cars in my 70s! :drive:

what’s up. I’m new to the forum and just wanted to gauge the average age of the enthusiasts here. I’m 30 with a fair amount of car experience, just wanted to see if there are many first time car owners, modders, or if many of you have been wrenching on cars for a while with previous builds in the past. Looking forward to learning more about these little 1.5 four bangers from you all.

I am 60 and just purchased mine about 3 weeks ago. I won't do much modding other than a few cosmetic things. I was driving my mother in law home from her Texas winter home in her new explorer. I checked out many cars on the highway during this 1000 mile trip. Most everything I looked at I thought to myself, that's boring, that's ugly. I'm afraid this Si may have ruined all other cars for me, that's how much I love it.

Good Lord, I was sure I was one of the older farts here at 60. I'm not even close! This is truly remarkable. Well done idea for this topic.
