So, when you load the TSP1 map do the other 3 load as well?
TSP stage 1 is actually one file, and when it is uploaded you can switch to the three different maps. Everything is loaded when you successfully flash your ECU with this file

So, ordered the Ktuner V1.2 from TSP Monday, got here Tuesday. After a rather difficult evening Tues. trying to load this unit, I gave up, and re attempted Wednesday morning, and after a call to Ktuner was able to load the map to my ECU. I hadn't received my TSP1 map yet, so I loaded starter map 19.5 normal, 21.5 Sport. I took it out and mapped my boost levels stock, loaded the "map" and did it again. Stock the max I saw was 16 psi.
Now, 20 psi normal, and I saw 22 in sport. Wow is all I can say, where it used to start "signing off" at 4700 rpm or so, it now pulls hard all the way to redline, even in normal mode, and sport mode just a little bit more. Monday on my way back to work from lunch (car still stock) I pulled up next to a VW GTI at a light, clear road ahead. We both floored it off the line and he pulled me by a car length all the way til we backed off at 80mph or so. Oh how I hope we meet again! He must live near me because I raced him a couple of years ago in my Acura TL....wirth the same result! When I bought the Civic I did the math, my 06 TL has the same power to weight as my stock SI, so exact same result with the GTI. Again, hope we line up next to one another again! Took the wife for a ride when she got home, and she thought the car was smoother than before, but with rev hang disabled, I'm able to drive it like all the manuals I've had in my life....smoothly. Thanks forum! Thanks TSP! Now she's running how it should from the get go, I am extremely pleased.
I was planning on waiting a month to get my Ktuner but after reading this, I'll be buying it this weekend. Thanks! :nono::banghead:

I have one more update. On Friday I traveled to Southern Cal (will be here a week), and I really find now that Rev hang has been disabled shifting is really annoying. When I am accelerating and shifting to the next gear, the rpm's will drop much to rapidly and if I don't catch the next gear fast enough and take my foot off the pedal the car will jerk. I find this particularly problematic when I hit traffic (in LA, traffic is king) and especially when I need to accelerate fast to get into another lane. So I decided to re-enable rev hang, re-flash tsp stage 1 and now my car drives way better in my opinion. No more jerking when I accelerate, and I feel more responsiveness when I accelerate. Also, it seems my mpg's went way up. Not sure if this had anything to do with enabling rev hang, could be just a coincidence.

BTW, if you were the guy who also got stuck on the 405 (South bound in Orange County) on Saturday night who was next to me in the Blue Si and are on this forum, that was me in the Black Si! SoCal freeways just suck.

Maybe it’s helpful in traffic, but that’s it. I have a lightened flywheel and rev hang off and don’t experience what you describe. Also, you know you can turn rev hang back on by just turning your cruise control on, right ? No need to flash all over again

That's not what TSP told me. I emailed them to find out if there was a way to enable rev hang on the fly without having to re-flash, and he told me I would have to re-load the tsp stage 1 file, disable rev hang and re-flash. Anyway, good to know.

You know, I got used to rev hang, it doesn't bother me a bit. With rev hang on driving feels better to me in traffic or not. At this point I don't want to spend money on a lighter flywheel, I'll consider when my clutch is done

“The cruise control mod was written by KTuner so that cruise would be as smooth as factory tune. The side effect is that we can literally turn rev-hang on or off with that button now. The only consequence of driving with it on all the time is less emissions, just like Honda designed it. Cruise off means rev-hang is disabled (if the Disable Rev-Hang box is checked, obviously).”

I am not using the Ktuner maps, but TSP's Stage 1 tune. When installing this tune you have to specifically uncheck rev hang before uploading it. I don't think turning on the cruise button with this map installed disables rev hang

Seems to work for me on TSP stage 2

I've had my Ktuner for a week now, and still on the Ktuner tune. For whatever reason, I cannot load my TSP1 onto my Ktuner software. Got an email into Corey @ TSP, hopefully we will get it resolved. Car is a blast on the Ktuner map 19.5/21.5, runs like a scalded dog. Can't wait to try out TSP1,,, if I can ever load it....
