Searched the forums and didn't find anything pertaining to Memorial Weekend and the Civic Si.

I'm in the market and ready to buy one now but also have the ability to wait to purchase one if there are significant deals on Memorial Weekend. I'm also a novice at car puchases so the only thing I know is that there are special deals for Memorial Weekend. Buying the car with no trade-in, some downpayment, and car loan (pre-approved from personal bank).

Generally, are the deals on Memorial weekend good if one is buying a Si Sedan?

Best time to buy a new Honda is a few days around Black Friday for special financing deals/cash incentives. But Honda is traditionally stingy on both offers. So while interest rate is dropping now, I’d shop for the lowest APR and do your own negotiation by calling up multiple dealers and ask for your own out-the-door (OTD) price and see who has the lowest price. In Calif, you should shoot for 1.5k under invoice + TTL (tax, title, license). Ball-park OTD for Calif: Your own base price times 1.11.

Good luck.

Check out carsdirect.com just before Memorial weekend for the latest incentives on your model. I've had good luck with Hardin Honda at Anaheim but do shop around at different Honda dealers for the best deal. Good luck!
