Great read, thanks for posting.

Man they hit the nail on the head for the Elantra. My wife has one and the suspension is pretty bad, bottoms out over speed bumps which, yes you can feel/hear.

Also awesome to see that for every car except the Mazda 3, the Civic has more power and a bunch more options available.

Another thing to note is the amazing comparison pictures towards the end.

From the front end - the civic is EASILY the lowest and widest of the cars with the best looking/most aggressive front end.

From the Side - the civic shines here again, looking much more upscale than the other cars pictured, as well as having the most aggressive shape.

Looking at this comparison booklet shows that Honda was really in it to make this car best in class, in most if not all categories.

Good read. Funny seeing that Honda basically puts together the same comparisons that we've seen this site do. Similar side-by-side image comparisons too. Would have been nice to see some "reach" competitors like the ILX, A3, 3 Series, and the like.

Just started reading about the 2016 Chevy Cruz. It gets a turbo across the board. Seems like it gets Apple Carplay/Android Auto across the board too. Might give the Civic a run for the money.

I test drove Mazda 3 2.5, Civic 1.5t, and Subaru Impreza hatch. Civic engine has much better response and sound. Civic was much quieter and more refined in its ride. The mazda engine felt like it had to work harder to accelerate and sounded noisy and harsh. I liked the Mazda steering feel a lot. Civic steering feels too light. Civic looks way better in my opinion. To get the active safety in the Mazda you need the most expensive package. Mazda does not have android auto which is amazing and will only get better as google adds features. Also test drove a Subaru impreza hatch. It drives nice, but the 150 hp engine felt slow and the wrx is too expensive and the gas mileage is terrible. I want something peppy, but i dont need a full out sports sedan. The interior looked cheap and outdated.

Ended up buying a WOP Civic touring. Easy decision and I love it.

A Chevy will never give any car a run for the money. Lol

Most sales people in Canada don't seem to know the stuff in that training manual. I don't listen to them anyways.

I listened to what C&D, AJAC, and Motor Trend had to say. Their reviews made it clear the 10th gen was at least a leap above its counterparts in refinement, MPG, and mechanical refinement.

Without a doubt this car has less of the crappiness associated with FWD than any other FWD competitor sold in Canada. Neighbour's Elantra I drove felt like a motorboat when cornering. Civic felt like it sniffed into those same corners.

LKAS worked well the day of the test drive in crappy Saskatchewan road conditions, and that sealed the deal on a WOP Touring.
