I don't see the issue. Isn't the Civic widely recognized as a great car already?

The stigma that's attached, not just to the Civic but all tuner vehicles, will probably always be there and should largely be ignored.

I haven't had any hateful comments yet but when I do they will mean nothing. I don't have time for petty squabbles when I'm in my car because I've got driving to do and I intend to enjoy it.

I haven't gotten any negative comments, only compliments. I love my "regular civic" :) And honestly, I bought it for myself so who cares what anyone has to say!

Well yeah. According to him 50 stickers= 250hp. Just make sure you buy them off Ebay cause they sell the best parts.

I"m going from leasing an Acura TLX, then a Cadillac ATS, and finally a BMW 3 series to now preparing to buy a Civic Sport. I personally feel it's one of the greatest values out there thus why I'm getting one. I've never understood why one would want or need someone elses validation on their vehicle unless that person was paying for it...

Anyone know if the regular civic and si will ever not be looked down upon due to the stereotypes associated with it? 10th gen seemed to change a lot of people’s minds but I got a comment the other day about how my car was a cheap pos and I didn’t really have a response to that. What do you guys say to haters?
I don't know man, I usually get the opposite reaction. People can't believe how much bang I get for the buck. They usually comment on how attractive it is, and those who get in are amazed at the overall quality and comfort.

Screw the haters; they're probably jealous.

I also had a BMW 3 series in the past and couldn't be happier with the value, style and performance of my Civic.

I noticed a lot of former BMW owners in this forum who feel likewise. What's that tell us?
