My NH dealer traded it for a Pilot or something. But special order like this, certainly no buying deals to be had, so I have way less money for mods than I had hoped. But ohhhhhh, this is my car! And I'm pretty psyched to have a 1-of-a-kind (for now at least). Except that horrible cloth interior. Dumbest thing Honda has done in ages. And I gotta learn the nuance of driving a 6-speed instead of a 5-speed! (After break-in, that is).

At least you got your car! Even though you leased it, i believe there are a few cheaper options for you to change just the center pieces out to leather. They were a huge comfort issue for me.

Thanks for liking the interior. As far as the exterior, I still have to add a couple white decals to tie together the white rims. I know the roof rack/ cargo basket surely isn't everyone's thing -- especially with choosing to forgo all black rims, but nonetheless I'm liking being different on the road.

Edit: How you learned on the dealer lot is extreme.

Not sure about the rhymes... I just got the plate to match the color code of the car and the fact that the standard new york plate is yellow/blue and very ugly on a red car. Plus - I'd love to maybe someday do the gumball 3000 as a "rally or rallye" event

Learning on the dealer lot -- I was definitely nervous but had the confidence behind me from driving sport bikes.

I'm surprised and blindsighted at times scarcely just how accomading some dealerships can be in terms of offering help to make a sale naturally. I've heard some females, over the phone, almost..you know..solicit for "need help" reasons just so to make you come in...

haha, yes I did --- luckily I was able to make a deal with them over the phone/email and negotiate that way. this definitely was the key factor in making the purchase.

Picked up a Ralleye Red 2018 Civic Hatch Sports myself just waiting for arrival. Ordered the Tailgate spoiler in red but may change that to black what are your thoughts since you have the red?

Painted them. Grabed a few different grit sand paper + primer/paint. Did not do gloss as i tried and gloss that is not professionally applied - could have a tingey yellowish color to it.

car looks amazing. Love the wheels too, I'm strongly considering whiting mine out even though my car is blacked out right now. It makes the car look very toy-ish, if I had the spare cash I'd get an old k20 honda and put some fat white wheels on it. Go kart time lol
