I never have anything beeping at me for unknown reason. The walk away feature can be turned off. It's always good to either read the manual or buy a car without all these features if they are too confusing.

Because the car can't detect where the key fob is and doesn't want to lock the car with the keys still inside it. So you need to not obstruct the fob as much when you exit the car. This way it should be able to detect it leaving the car and know it's fine to lock the car.
my keys hang on my belt loop.they cant possibly be less obstructed. it still beeps like 10% of the time.

The antenna that helps to figure out if the keys are in the car is at the back of the console (at least on Type R's). If you have a bunch of stuff in the console or on the floor between the console and the back seat then the signal reception can be affected.
