I cannot drive in flip-flops!! Guaranteed accident for me. Especially with a clutch. If I’m sporting flops I’m driving bare footed.
True for me, as well. Flops don't work for me and the clutch. Don't do bare foot though. Sneaks best for me.

I will second the Onitsuka tiger mexico 66. its super similar to some of the piloti models, narrow and the soles are fairly thin for better pedal feel but totally usable daily.

Well, I'm a 5 foot tall Asian fellow with small feet :p. But here's a picture.

I don't have particular large feet, especially for my height, but I have the opposite problem. A lot of these shoes seem to only be offered up to a 9 or 10 in the colors I would want.

That is the opposite problem. Selection is a difficult thing for people with big(ger) and smaller shoe sizes. I feel your pain. I guess I'm lucky since kid sized shoes (and cloths) are dirt cheap though.

Got a pair of cheap sneakers of Amazon for work, surprisingly they have really good feel when driving my R.

Puma makes the best driving shoes for sure at least in my opinion, but for regular shoes the Puma cross trainers and Classic Vans and also Chuck Taylors (old school converse) make for good driving shoes :)

I like these. They feel perfect and they look decent with anything else I’m wearing. Only real drivers recognize what I’m wearing anyway.

I’m a simple man. Just use any shoes base on place I want to go. But yeah, slipper doesn’t have a good grip.

I returned the Puma Driftcats I had ordered because they were just too narrow and uncomfortable for my feet.

I ended up ordering a pair of the Goodyear Ori-E since they're not expensive and they have 10% off first order. They are a more normal width shoe and I find them to be very comfortable. The sole is a little stiff, so I'll have to see if they have any good pedal feel once they're broken in a bit.
