I don't think I'll ever really come to terms with the eyesore that Honda put on the back of the Si sedan, so I'm playing with the idea of doing a bumper swap.

Would a bumper from the non-Si sedan work? They're the same chassis, so the only problem I can think of is the exhaust.

Bump. Anyone know if the exhaust can work with the regular bumper?

The layout of the muffler is different, but I think you can replace the lower piece with aftermarket dual exhaust tips. Either way, you have to either remove your HDMI shaped tip with the OEM bumper or reroute the mufflers.

It’s funny because I had toyed with the idea of swapping my regular bumper for an si bumper. I guess we all just want what we don’t have lol

the bumper fits except that the two clips under the bumper in the middle won't have anything to connect to. I did it and made custom brackets to have the bumper connect to something that way it doesn't shake while driving. When installed you can see the spare tire under and it will be the color of the body which looks ugly. I spray painted the under where the spare tire lays black and had a muffler shop install a custom muffler but its more like a muffler delete. sounds good too not ricey more deep then expected.

Would the '19 Sport bumper work? They have the same exhaust tip, the Sport's is just a bit smaller.

Even though the sport has the exhaust placed the other way around like the Si, it should have the same bumper like the normal sedan, which is the reason that its exhaust tip is smaller, not as wide as the Si.

The reason that the mounting points for the Si is wider is to make room for its exhaust tip.
