I am not saying they make the greatest products ever. Obviously their early releases were done half ass. But the SRI you list in your thread title was release in October 2018. The evo1500/1501 is not part of the the first batch of garbage they released when the car just came out. Is it the greatest performance part ever? No. But it doesn’t have the same problems as the earlier releases. With all of that said. I would buy a used hondata or ktuner instead of an intake.

Don't buy it! I used to have it and the sound is pretty good, not going to lie BUT once I was able to buy a K-tuner I saw the fuel trims all over the place, temperature was hot as well. pretty much my car was suffering. After 2 years, my car started to run rich, engine was shaking so I end up putting the stock intake back and my car was running perfect again. Currently I have 27won and my car is running perfect. It looks so good, no noise, but you feel it when you are driving.

I wonder why the fuel trims are going nuts "just" because of an air filter. My logic tells me it should be the same information the maf sensor is giving to the ecu. But is it caused by the alternative distance the maf sensor gets to and from the air filter, due to the manufacturers own engineering that triggers this issue?

Thanks to all of you guys helping me with this.

That's insane!:eek::eek: What a weird move for injen to make. Can the PRL be used as a short ram as well?
I switched from injens sri to prls sri with race maf, I thought the injens was loud but with prls the "whoosh" is louder.. If that makes sense
