I'd have to say for sheer fun, my Integra was my favorite car. That thing was so tossable and simply screamed to that very high redline.
Yeah, I had an integra gs that redlined somewhere around 8k and wasn’t the fastest car, but the sound of that motor was intoxicating. I just miss the shorter wheelbase and more go-kart type feel more than anything.

Get a wheel and pedal set and do some iracing. It will improve your reflexes no matter how old you are.
I just google that as haven’t heard of it and wow, looks badass. I don’t have a game system and not sure the laptop will run it, but I’m checking it out. I’d have to have a dedicated chair with realistic driving position...and I will say, I can drive w the best of em...it’s my need to push and push till a wheel finally leaves the pavement in a curve...soon as it touches its game over.

Im 39. Ive had a bunch of cars, but only a few that id consider "fun to drive"... This Si is at the top of the list. After 7 months of ownership i have come to enjoy it more and more. Its def one of the best handling cars ive ever had.

33 coming from Subaru's, had a 04 wrx,06 sti.07 sti and 01 2.5 rs with a full 04 sti swap.
Why did you go Honda and how do you like it? I love Subarus. The sound is nice and the ride just feels solid. I find this Civic to be sensitive and it wants me to be careful but a 2013 WRX I drove the other day with a heavy clutch felt like more work but just solid! Loud but good loud!

Btw, I’m 47. This is my first Civic, 7th Honda. Owned 2 Integras, 2 Legends, 2 Accords. 2017 HB Sport. My favorite was a Legend Coupe. Sound system was great, the V6 silky smooth and powerful, double wishbone suspension great handling, brakes gave fade, leather power seat very nice. I always liked the V6’s and plush ride of Legends but I’m down with this car now that I’ve modded it. The ride is a good mix of ride and handling, leather wrapped wheel feels nice in my hands, the FM radio is a joke but oh well. The looks are sharp, tires turn very nicely. Best thing is mileage and precise throttle graduations and how the tail will come out with throttle lift off!

I'm 68 in May, bought my SI April 2018. I'm a life long car nut (even bigger motorcycle nut). I love the little devil so far and am just on the edge of ordering a K tuner. Other than Weathertech floor mats and tinting all around, it's stock. Mine is Rally Red, and I also own a 1999 Honda VFR800 (gear driven cams!) in Italian red (they are the same!). I've found the SI to be almost as fun as my bike, but not quite (I'm an old flat tracker turned off road racer, now retired). As much fun as I am sure the car would be in Northern Arkansas, I'll take the bike, thanks. Nothing like a well balanced bike in the twisties!

I'm 30, and I just got my Si a few months ago before my birthday. It was the best compromise I could come up with that was financially sound between getting a new car that was sporty, inexpensive, reliable or getting a motorcycle.

I had a phase in my early 20's when I lived in San Diego where I sold my car and only owned a couple motorcycles. It lasted a few excellent years, but eventually I had to sell them to buy a car.

I kind of want to get a Honda Grom to putt around town. Those things look ridiculously fun and there's a huge modding market for them.

37 in a couple weeks. This is my 2nd Si, and probably my 10th Honda overall if I add in those Honda motorcycles to list of vehicles too lol.

There's a previous thread:

How old is too old to buy an SI with many responses.

Just turned 70 in Oct '18. Be interested if I'm the senior owner.
Hi DRuby...I just turned 76 March 15...so, I have to think perhaps I'm the oldest...I hope there are others older than me...I have been an enthusiast since my early youth, learning to drive a stick shift on my dad's 49 International, one ton wrecker...at age 13. I have been a gear head ever since, although I was a cop for nearly 30 years til an 18 wheeler took me out. I have been retired for over 20 years. Very active in SCCA autocross and track activities for almost 35 years...still kickin' it...

21 with little experience driving a manual and boy now that I’ve gotten use to it, everything feels much more relaxed, it’s basically second nature now, car is everything I’ve hoped, for a daily.
I have been teaching stick shift driver for several years...you would be surprised how many people, even into their 50s, who had never learned to drive a stick shift...and the reasons for wanting to learn now vary, but some a quite funny. One attorney, who is single, had a girlfriend who had just purchased a stick shift C7 Corvette. He was scared she may ask him to drive it...

Or, find your regional SCCA group and take that Si autocrossing...some of the most fun, and satisfying activity you can have with it, and with each event, you will find yourself getting more and more competitive, learning more about setup, and looking forward to the next event. I'm 76 and have been doing it for nearly 35 years. Prior to that, I was heavy into drag racing, not street drag racing, but racing at the strip. I just got too expensive to participate and I got into smaller, sportier cars and went autocrossing...love it, and best of all, I'm still competitive. You learn skills that can keep you alive on the highway as well...

Nah you’re not to old for yellow when I bought my 2018 ext I turned 50 now turning 51 if they had the yellow in 2018 I would have gotten it plus I live in Florida and there’s a lot of guys in their 90s driving yellow corvettes
I bought a new Corvette in 2007, Z51 package stick shift, and it was yellow...Sold it about 5 years ago to aid in building a detached garage in addition to the 3 car attached I had already. I had two Civic Si's at that time, one an 88 CRX Si, and a 91 Civic Si hatch...I built and autocrossed those cars for years, til it got so difficult to get in and out of the race seats as I grew older.
