How much of a PITA was this? I'd like to make these my first mod, but not really feeling having to remove my entire fender liner and brush glue primer on the back of my new carbon side vents.

It's not that bad. You don't have to remove the entire wheel well covering, just the first 3 screws and a few clips and pull it back and tighten one Phillips head screw. The other clip is reached thru the hood opening.

Thanks. Do you also have to apply adhesive like the previously posted instructions suggest, or is it a screw in piece?

I didn't use any tape, just screwed it into place with the lower screw and top bolt. If someone were really a perfectionist double sided tape might help everything stay a little bit tighter towards the bottom, but I am not concerned with it right now.

How’s the fitment and build quality of the Seibon fenders?

Installed APR CF fender vents. Was a painful experience (literally). Your arms get torn up reaching inside the fender to reinstall the upper plastic push clip.

Beware: The upper hole on each vent needs to be enlarged to 21/64

Fitment is nice however.

Thanks. Did you just use a drill bill to widen the hole?

Hi davemarco,
Yes. Started with a 5/16 then finished with 21/64. Did it very slowly with barely any pressure so it wouldn’t grab hard and snap it. Looking back, could have used some lube for an extra measure of safety.

Thanks. From your write up, it sounds like the too-small hole is a known issue with the APR side vents. Would you willing to reach out to them to let them know about the issue? I don't know that I'd feel comfortable drilling carbon fiber, so I might have to wait for a future batch.
