SO I just ordered a set and have had great contact back'n'forth so far. Really easy to do business with. The guards will come in about a month and we'll see how easy they are to install.

How are these working out for everyone? Are they as effective as the Rally Armor? I've had my Type R for about a month, and I constantly hear the sounds of rocks pinging off the bottom (and possible the sides). It makes me cringe every time.

I've ordered a set of these rock guards in hopes that they'll work great and look great. If not, I'll have to get a set of the Rally Armor meat curtains. :(

How are they with the gravel and rocks? Do you still hear constant pings, or do these do a good job of blocking them?

the rock guards were my first mod for my18 due to the amount of loose asphalt at aloha stadium. i have pff on my03 s2000 and it did an ok job but i still have some major rock chips.
after 50+ auto-x runs with RE71Rs, i have accumulated zero rock chips and no rocks in my brake dust shields.

not at all. coming straight off the course and into grid there is a fair amount of noise but the sound if more like driving on loose gravel.

I recently ordered a set. Be aware that he started to put his logo sticker underneath the clear coat at the bottom of the flaps. Tell him not to if you want the clean carbon fiber look.

Ya that sucks.

No offense to him, but I want a clean look.

I did buy these several months ago, with no logo.

This is one reason why I won’t buy the BuddyClub carbon wheel.

I’ve gone so far as grind down a logo and reclear a carbon part on a previous car because I hate logos so much. Granted that part cost A LOT of money.

Thanks for the heads up! I just e-mailed him and will let everyone know if it's an issue (hopefully not!).
