I talked to this dealership but they dont have any stock ATM. I've contacted about 10 different dealers who have this car in stock around the VA area and the cheapest i have been able to be offered is 2k over MSRP.
That sucks, I drove up there from NC to get mine and they had it for a few weeks. I don't think they are getting them as often due to them sitting on them for a minute. Call the dealer and ask for David Cortes he should be able to take your info and call you when they get one :)

Wanted to confirm Clinton Honda in Annandale NJ is still selling MSRP, just bought an Aegean Blue there this past Saturday (partially thanks to this thread) at MSRP from Mike Shamy, no addons, no BS. They said they sell about 3 per year, so might not get another in until 2020 models, but worth checking with them.

Superior Honda in Cincy near me said they got 2 Type R's a year. Meanwhile the local VW dealership has 5-6 Golf R's on the lot and more on the way. And for a MRSP that is $4-8K more per vehicle. This makes the Honda dealers' upward price bumps more predictable.

Our dealership, Stouffville Honda, does not charge more than MSRP. No discounts but we do not charge over sticker or add accessories to inflate the price. PM for details!

I'm starting a new video series on my Youtube channel where I call Honda dealerships one by one to try and find where we can get the Type R at MSRP. I just recorded conversations with about 6 dealerships and will continue to do this today. Got some guys that are going to call me back (and no, I don't expect good news). Ill post the video in here when its up

Hey Cameron, when are you going to post the 2nd follow up video calling those Honda dealerships and seeing if they can offer at MSRP or lower. Not sure if they will finally budge now that we're one month deep into the pandemic already. My local dealer wants 3K over MSRP- I quickly said "No thanks" and he didn't seem to be desperate to work out the numbers and sell it to me. I probably would decline knowing that this years model now has the same feature problems your Si has with all the nanny-added crap. 2019 or older still the way to go.

On a cursory search, there was a black '19 in MI, IIRC for $34.6k. I'm hoping to get one closer to home (Louisville, KY) for that price or slightly lower. Maybe ask for $36k out the door. With so many available, get a bunch of dealers in a bidding war. Just be willing to ship, if it comes to that...

Valley Honda in pa. I snagged one before they even posted it on their site by using Honda’s site and seeing what was in transit.

asked manager if he’d sell for msrp. He said yes. I sent $500 deposit.
