That is nice to see so many 50+ owners. I am 32 and am thinking about buying a Type R.
I am cross shopping between this and the 997.2 4S PDK. I know these are very different cars but they are both within my budget. I am a Honda fan so Type R is my ultimate dream. Decision decision....

Can't go wrong with either, Have a 2014 Cayman S and love driving that so much I consider selling the CTR for a 991 GTS or 4S every time I drive it lol.

I know I will get a 911 sometime in the future, but knowing that the FK8 Type R might end its production in the next few years, I don't want to miss the chance of owning a new Type R. I hope Honda will keep Type R production and comes out with new ones in the future.

I don't know if you have an NA vs turbo preference with Porsches but I really like that flat 6 sound vs the 17'+ turbo motors as well

I do. I want the NA flat 6 only. Of course, I would not mind a Carrera T with buckets. Before, we derail this to become a Porsche forum, I think I will go rent a FK8 on Turo for a few days before making a decision. I am sure dealership is not going to let me test drive one....
