It's usually the kids who know what's cool. I'd definitely go by their standards over the adults perspective. I have an Si, and kids are constantly drawn to it. That's when I know I made the right choice in cars. LOL even my friends 2 sons rather ride in mine over his Mercedes C400Still nothing in the wild. I am noticing more hatchbacks, but no Type Rs.
Three times in the past couple of weeks, I've parked my car for errands only to come back later to find packs of kids walking around it like it's sitting on a showroom. One kid started yelling Type R stats at me and told me how cool a car it was. His dad walked over and said, "You like....that?"
I had a good laugh.
Must of been meJust got back from Sydney, Australia and saw 3 Type R's. Still have yet to see one in DFW outside of a dealership or a cars and coffee.
