I think the best thing about a car like the CTR is that almost anyone who would buy it chose it because they love cars and driving. (Same goes for any enthusiast model.)
I think mentally I’m still 10 years old and how I dress reflects that well :)

And honestly, if people judge me for it then so be it... just like if people judge me for my car then whatev. Every message board that complains how older people would never buy the CTR needs to be shown a link to this thread... may surprise them.
True and Do it! I don't know where these message boards are or I would do it myself. Just because some of us have some age on us doesn't mean we don't enjoy driving a great car, which is what the CTR seems to be to me. Heck once I get some experience with it I might try some AutoX. After all back in the day I owned, maintained and drove a 360 Sprint Car on dirt ovals so I've driven fast before.

27 in 11 days. My car will be 1 year old in 18 days (never occurred to me that I got my Type R a week after my Bday :p).

What’s up everyone

Just picked up my PMM the other day and my wife commented that I’m getting too old for something with such a large wing.

I’ve been into Honda’s since 1988 when I had Jackson Racing suspension in my CRX.

I thought I was done til they announced the Civic Type-R was coming to the states and I knew I had to get one!! I’m glad I Did! My BEST Honda yet!

I’m 45 years old and proud!!

Here’s a few pics of my Honda’s from the past.

34 checking in. I'd imagine that people in their 30's and early 40's would be the Type R's main demographic - people who were teens at the height of the JDM awesomeness, and are now successful enough to drop $35K+ on a car.

27, about to be 28 in a couple days. Guess it wound up being a bit of an early birthday present for myself.

35 here, wanted a Type R since I fell in love with the DC5 type R. So happy that Honda finally brought one here.
