I wanted to bring this post back from the dead...LOL if there are any 2017's with higher miles on them (you know driven cars not garage kept weekend cars) how is the interior material holding up?

Ironically enough, my center console is fine but my driver side door is showing wear. The seats themselves are showing little creases on the bolsters, but other than that, look okay. For reference, I daily my car and just crossed 20k miles. Also never treated the seats during my ownership, but will probably get them treated soon.

I'd be interested in an update as well from owners.

I'm not an owner as yet but would be curious how well the driver seat, center console, and door panel are holding up.

I have 16k miles. Seats are fine.
Not all at the same time, but I'm had my kids get in the Type R and you know how they can be, they are:
2m
5yr
8yr
11yr
14yr

But I do hear a faint rattle when I'm driving slow from somewhere either on the driver side tweeter or maybe that pillar...can't figure it out lol. It's not bad enough to drive me crazy, but I hear it every now and then.

Cheap as heck to replace.
I have 1500 miles and already have taken it off.

I had similar ultra suede whatever material it is on JDM STi seats in my WRX for over 7 years/100k miles and they showed only the very slightest bit of pilling at wear spots at the end of that time.

The problem is oils from the body mat down the material causing the shiny, flattened look. Use a soft bristle brush with water and a small amount of dish soap.

Has anyone found a way to get rid of the wrinkles that appear in the bolstering on left side of the driver's seat?

I've got a 2017 but only 8600 miles so I'm not a good judge but holding up well. I have had an alacantra wheel before and I don't know how you all do it. I must have sweaty hands.

I'd imagine there isn't a way to remove this. Think of it like a crease in a piece of paper.

15k miles I'm on a sept 2017' and the centre arm rest is fine, but the door pull area gets very manky But as has been said some good interior cleaner and a nail brush sorts it right out.

The seats have not faired so well, with wear on the drivers side as well as the creases which no matter how you might swing over and try to avoid it's inevitable in a daily driver. But, bought some dream covers and out of sight out of mind!!!

9000km and there is noticeable wear on the drivers' side door card where I rest my arm. Ditto for that little side section bordering the cupholders on the drivers' side where I rest my other arm. Slightly disappointing considering I've only owned the car for 6 months but such is the nature of Alcantara (or whatever Honda used to simulate it) I suppose...
