The situation is totally unfair to everyone, (except the DMV who is obviously oblivious & most likely incompetent & uncaring) You paid a dealer for a functional vehicle, you don't have one. If you don't have a functioning, drivable vehicle regardless of who is at fault, the DMV or Honda, I think the dealer ( who took your money) at the least, owes you a loaner until this is resolved. I think it's unreasonable for you to be placed in legal jeopardy having to drive a vehicle that's not legally registered, the dealer should step up and make this right for you!

Temporary plates? What is it like living in in the lawless wild west? lol. I'm starting to be thankful I live in New York state. The dealership either transfers your plates for you (if you are trading in) or gets new plates right there. I'm sure its a pain for the dealer, but Its so much simpler here.

I plan on calling the dealership tomorrow and explaining my situation once again, but this time in a more assertive manner. Ive lived up to my end of the contract. I paid my Full coverage insurance bi
Have you spoken to the manager, Michael Fam, yet? He seems like he would go the extra mile for his customers from my conversations with him. (I am in Greensboro.)

Nice to see another CW so close and I hope you get it resolved ASAP.
no I didn't. I didn't even know about him to be honest

If the situation is like mine was it's not the dealer. They sent the paperwork, it's the DMV. Not much the dealer can do.
Its the Dealer. DMV has told me numerous times that the paperwork and title have not been submitted. The dealer is even telling me that they themselves do not have the title

That’s exactly why I asked in the first place. So frustrating.

Its the Dealer not the DMV. I have an accord. The dealer was gonna loan me a car but I don't even really commute much.

I experienced something similar when I ordered my custom plates. It took literally 11 months of waiting. Had I not called the DMV, it would've taken longer. Apparently, my order was "stuck somewhere in their system"

Funny how all of us can talk, share photos, send videos or anything we want to each other worldwide, and in this day in age, DMV and Dealerships have things stuck in the system lol

thats crazy. Sorry to hear that. But I'm not far behind lol
Not that I believe would help, but had the dealer draft a letter that said “we submitted, still waiting”. But I’m sure a cop wouldn’t care.

Its not like back up in NY. DMV down here isn't a one stop shop. U have DMV, then you have the License plate place where you get your stickers from and plates. U don't just walk into the DMV and say hey heres my money, give me my plates and Temp inspection sticker. here theres two different places. Why? No freaking idea. its so dumb

I did some research, and the DMV license and theft Bureau here in NC actually License and Regulates the dealerships in this state. So I'm going to bring my paperwork to them in the morning, file a complaint against Flow Honda, and start an investigation into the matter. I called the dealership last night and told them to please call me and tell me whats going on blah blah blah. Needless to say they never called me today. So I'm taking the next step

dealer hasn't submitted anything. The dealer doesn't have the Title. The dealer is the problem
