More info coming guys, stay tuned! :)
Awesome! Could you possibly clarify what the difference between this intake and the future “Stage 3” intake that I’ve heard mentioned? Is that a real thing?

On a separate note, now that I have an R, I see why it’s so hard to improve on the stock air box. Unlike the SI, which takes air from the engine bay, the R air box is basically pulling directly from the front grill.

We have no information available at this time as our High Volume Intake System is currently under development.

I reached out to PRL directly, rumor has it that this intake might be out this summer after more testing is completed in April and goes as planned. Sounds like a lot of time is going into this intake design and will be worth the wait!

hope it will not take that much time to be released. Was willing to get an intake as soon as possible, and PRL was first on the list:)

I was reading up on the Eventuri Intake and noted that they appear to have a secondary air inlet in the form of an opening extending down towards the fender well. Is this something that the PRL airbox will have as well?

Yes I believe it will have this feature!

Possible future bumper scoop? Not sure!

That would be sweet! I loved the PRL Cobra on my SI, but was always paranoid about the 1% chance of sucking up water when hitting an unexpectedly deep puddle at speed. Combining the ram air design of the stock Type R airbox with a scoop going down towards the fender well sounds like it would be the best of all worlds.

Any chance we could get a more specific time frame as to when it'll be released?

The intake would have to be fully submerged in water for it to be a problem.
