I personally didn't notice any performance gains with just intake (first mod I installed) but sound is the biggest reason I went for and it does make it sound a lot better. Gives it a nice growl.Any difference with the intake bro cause might pick up one in the near future
No real difference until you hit 5600rpm ... I can feel it’s more eager to get to redline from 5600 rpm compared to the stock airbox setupAny difference with the intake bro cause might pick up one in the near future
I don't have a Ktuner I thought when they sent out the new pipe it would go away.Just disable the sensor in Ktuner IMO. If you dont wanna do that I think your sensor might be shot...
Crap.. What do you recommend I dont want to bring it to the dealership. (They ask too many questions)Sensor may have gone bad from what it seems the new defouler is helping everyones CEL stay off
Please point me in the right direction.See how much sensor is online. Dealer will plow you with no lube for a sensor change
Youre looking at $100-$150 for the sensor.
You're doing gods work hope you know that lord cthulhu thanks you!Youre looking at $100-$150 for the sensor.
Thank you!Heres the screenshot of honda parts site
I recieved the new part already I unplugged the battery when I got my new sound system in. As for driving hard no but I do drive a lotDon't buy a new sensor. If you just replaced the defouler with the new one that RV6 sent out, try disconnecting/reconnecting your battery first to reset your computer. It's very, very unlikely that the sensor in Bank 1 is dead unless you dropped it, cut the wires, or smashed it with a hammer. The cat-less downpipe is going to cause these codes if the defouler isn't tuned just right, or you drive exceptionally hard all the time without a catalytic converter.
...ok...Let me know if that was the correct solution.
How much lower does the mustang dyno read? I've read 12% elsewhere so if my math is correct, you should be making 179hp at the wheels with just a ktune and downpipe.A tune isn't required but yes more power with it tuned
It's not 100% perfect, but yes. I had to reset the CEL a couple times the first 6 months and just ended up disabling them in Ktuner, which prevents the CEL. Does your state have a visual check of the exhaust? I'll find out in 3-4 months if I can wing my inspection in TX as is. Though still, it only takes 20-30 minutes to swap out the pipe. Of course I'd like to not have to unbolt things twice a year, or pick up new gaskets (which are relatively cheap). Still, worth it. The power gain from 40-80+mph is righteous.Anyone who has the defouler, Does it keep the CEL off without disabling the secondary o2 sensor in Ktuner?
If it does I can pass inspection
