welcome to the Si life. you did great job upgrading.

i dont know how yall could fathom spending money on a corolla. i mean if i got one for free or it was the last rental car on the lot id drive it for sure but id be damned if i had to pay monthly for that car. such a boring car.

That's how I got mine, free. Handed to me when I was 17 from my grandparents .At the time I had no interest in cars, and drove it for 10 years before something finally sparked & I started gaining a real interest in the "car scene" . That Corolla was reliable as all hell but boy and was it the most boring thing ever to drive .

My car was at 185k and sold it for 3k. The rear quarter panels were getting rusty near wheel wells but the engine was perfect and lasts long with very minimal maintenance.

I hope someone starts a maintenance thread and make it sticky in this forum. I am more of a DIY guy and Toyota nation forums has a thread for all maintenance related stuff
There is the forums are broken up in a maintence thread then broken up further.

You don't buy a Corolla for excitement. It's an investment in quality transportation that will last you for years and hundreds of thousands of trouble free miles. It allows you to get where you are going saving you money so that you can buy that sports car that's always in the shop
