Drivers seat right side bolster on the back rest squeaks and creaks, picture attached.

In the attached picture the spot in the seat that I'm pointing to is where it is squeaking and creaking. I took my Civic to the dealership and they told me that there is nothing they can do they will not replace the seat for me. They said other Civics have this same problem. My civic didnt make this noise when new and the passenger seat is squeak free. My question is does anyone else have this squeaking or creaking in their side bolster or is it just me?

Mine definitely squeaks a bit (with leather) and didn't at delivery.

Honestly, I can live with it. I had an issue with my 2013 that was a literally "popping" sounds on the seat back with any pressure at all.

I can tell you it always came back, so even if the dealership fixed it, I wouldn't hold my breath.

No, none in the drivers seat, just the rear seats rattle at the latches..

I have a EX-L that was bought back in March 2016. From my experience, my seat has squeaked before. It started squeaking about 2-3 weeks ago. I don't know why, or where exactly the noise in coming from. It seems that when I lean against my seat, the squeaking noise is noticeable. It gets really irritating/annoying when Im driving and all I hear is squeak squeak squeak. The squeaking sound has disappeared though.

I'm getting another noise however. This time is seems to be coming from the passenger side grab handle thing. Only makes a noise on rough/bumpy pavement.

Before all of this, I had a noise that seemed to be coming from behind/under the steering wheel column. Only made noise on rough pavement. Really annoying sound too. I don't get the sound that often anymore, but it still comes back from time to time.

I have that too. Any permanent fix you have found? I tried stuffing a towel between the back seat and the latches temporarily or keeping the back seat folded down into the cabin to eliminate the rattle. Anything that can be done?

Found it: did some testing to figure out what was causing it and figured it is the foam rubbing up against the metal frame of the chair

its easier to open up the seat with leather because of the zips, couldn't fix it on mine but fixed it on a friend car, just add some padding where it shows in the pictures

the bottom of the seat had a u shaped flap where the seat backing latches into the bottom undo that and the zips and you should be good to go see top right of second picture

make sure not to touch the airbags, *I'm not responsible it anything happens*

I am having this issue with my Touring. The driver side creaks occasionally. I will have to ask the dealership to open it up and check it out.

Did anyone have any luck with the dealer fixing it? I've had mine do this for a while and am finally taking it in this week.

Elk Grove Honda repaired it at no charge:
"Inspected and found driver seat back frame is rubbing, causing noise. Insulated seat back frame where meets cushion, rechecked and found noise gone now."

I know this is a stupid old thread but from what I'm uncovering, the 2018 and 2019 Civic Si's have an "old matress" squeak in cold weather. I experience the same as this user and have been updating https://www.civicx.com/threads/drivers-seat-noise.11142/#post-532931 in getting Honda to repair it since they won't replace as all of their 2018 and 2019 Si's on the showroom have the issue.
