I don't know about in your area but in upstate NY they spray a brine solution on the roads. its just salt and water mixed together.I am curious, if the winter road treatments are anything like in Toronto, they may occasionally spray this anti-freeze like solution on the roads when it isn't being salted and that could absolutely destroy aluminum rims, no?
Would this mix not damage the aluminum rims?I don't know about in your area but in upstate NY they spray a brine solution on the roads. its just salt and water mixed together.
I'm assuming it has the same effect as regular road salt? But I wonder... since its applied to the road differently, a solution vs. solid chunks, does that make it more (or less?) likely to end up causing corrosion?Would this mix not damage the aluminum rims?
