Thank you so much!! I can’t believe the major difference from my 18 civic si coupe I had.
I know there’s a thread already about this but what are you’re main observations so far about that comparison?

Also, I like the pic of the paperwork room with the R visible next door... I’d have had trouble conversing if that had been me!

Hahaha, it was hard to stop staring at the car while I was signing paperwork.
But the differences I’ve noticed just from driving it home:
1: seats are more comfortable in the type r (I don’t know if that’s what they were going for lol)
2: the instrument display has a yellow top line, instead of white in the si.
3: clutch is harder and engagement is a lot sooner
4: road noise is ALOT louder in the type r
5: no blind spot camera
6: no heated seats
7: love the new volume knob!!!
8: gear indicator in the type r
9: shifter engages smoother
10: the type r feels more planted to the ground
11: miss having a sunroof

I have more but the list would be very long. And these are just what I think so far, comparing the two

I miss my sun roof too. Don’t miss the heated seats. You’ll discover more. It’s a lot of fun comparing. Road noise...sigh. I’m working on that.

Congrats! Beautiful car. Rally red looks great in person...pics don’t do it justice! Red was actually my second choice!

Congrats. Welcome to the red type r brotherhood. I am sure that you will love it and will likely notice that there are not many of us out there in the wild. I have yet to see another one in person myself.

Congrats! I am getting mine next month and I am still torn between white and red. I was driving a couple of weeks ago and stopped a guy who had a red one and asked if I could check it out Car looks amazing in red (Guy was super nice about letting some weirdo in a Golf R check his car out too)
