It's a step up from the standard warranty, if I understood it all correctly. Again, very wet around the ears so I pretty much just went with what they told me. Any and all suggestions are welcome.

I have owned over 9 Honda/acuras in the past 18 years. I have never had any issues with any of them. I mostly worked on the cars myself and they ran amazingly, never let me down once. Honda’s are reliable as all heck. I would cancel the extended warranty you brought if possible. Basic maintenance and common sense is all you really need to keep the car running well. spread out your money in terms of using it over many years versus dumping it all on the warranty. Basic maintenance is not expensive.

Dealer agreed to cut the extended service contract, which will take away $2,408 from total price, bringing it down to $29,307.

Paid the same as you on December, but 2019 model in ny. 2k down with $950 tire and wheel protection which comes out to <400/month for 60 months with 2.9 apr. Wheel locks and floor mats included.

Turns out the contract included gap waiver which is nice.

Thing is I really wanted a white hb which they did not have and I guess they really wanted my business or hit some numbers before the year ends. So I guess what you can do is look up their inventory colors and pretend to want a color they don't have and let them try to convince you to take another color that they have in stock which is the real color you want. Even if they give you a good deal just pretend to really want the color that you don't want and they will probably lower it more because they know if you go to another dealer that has that color, you will probably buy it there instead. Worse case is they let you walk and then you come back and take their best offer. You should also have a set price you're going to pay for the fake color too so they start lowering it from there.

Picked up a 2019 Hatchback last Friday. Called every dealership in MD and asked for their best OTD price with no add-ons. One was $500 under the next lowest so I bought it from them that afternoon!

I think that dealer may been especially motivated to make a sale that day, but I got several quotes in the low to mid $23k range so that price seems very achievable. Love the car. Replaced my '99 Buick Century so it was a pretty massive upgrade for me.

Read the fine print. Might still have time to delete the service contract and theft deterrent.

If the salesman survey hasn’t come in. Just let them know you need their help to remove these items before you get the survey and mail back. These surveys are a big deal to the dealerships and sales people.

I was able to remove the extended service contract. Will keep theft deterrent since it takes some off the top for insurance.
