Hello fellas
I was just wondering if anyone here would know of a good place in or around SE Louisiana that does custom tunes and dynos? I'm not quite ready for it that yet, but just trying to get my. Ducks in a row.

Thanks in advance

Check out Corr Performance in Metairie. They have a Dyno Dynamics AWD dyno. They can tune Hondata and KTuner. I’ll be visiting them later this year.

Yea, I knew about them. Though I did hear some bad stuff about them a while ago, so I was looking for other options that 8 didn't have to drive 2 hours for. But I may check them out anyway. Just to see

I admit, I am still questioning whether to tune with them or someone else. It does appear they have some experience tuning late model Honda’s with earth dreams engines:

I’m definitely going to go down there to put it on the rollers and see what numbers it gets, but I wonder if I could get a better tune with a more established e-tuner. From the forums I’ve looked at, reviews seem to be generally positive.

The only other tuner I’ve heard of is Derek Dunbar in Baton Rouge (ddtechcams.com), but I heard he is only doing Hondata.

Damn, they suppose to ha e quite a few in Baton Rouge, I just don't know any of em. Maybe I'll let you go first to corr lol.

But yea they have a few etuners on this site I'm sure we can work with. Im fixing to do some research here in a few. I'll let you know if I find anybody else.

I’m staying away from corr. After meeting some of the locals that race, I haven’t met anyone that has anything good to say. So I’m going with an etune very soon.

That's what I'm talkin about... I haven't heard a good thing yet. And I'm not one to spread shit or give bad reviews. I honestly haven't heard any good shit.

I will be going the etune route myself. When I'm done with a few more bolt-ons I'm going to try and hook up with
@D-RobIMW. He seems like the way to go for etunes.

Yeah. That’s the exact same route I’m going. I just put my flex kit in and I’m pretty much bolted out. Probably in the next couple weeks I’ll be hitting him up. You going to dyno pull for the tune or street?

What do you mean exactly by dyno pull for the tune?

If you get a custom tune you have to do pulls on a dyno or street. But if you’re getting a base map tune you don’t need to dyno.
OK, i got it now. I would most likely do whatever said tuner would prefer. I wouldn't mind doing street pulls though. Gives me a more hands on feeling lol

Look into Preaux Tuning in Baton Rouge. Hybrid Racing will tune Hondata and they recommend Preaux a lot too.
