Been going back and forth with the Ktuner people via email on this, and I need advice from the crowd, please!

Civic HB Sport MT
19.5k miles
Ktuner 1.2
flashed to the change-on-the-fly tune, whatever the hell it's called

I'm currently on a long road trip, flashed the ECU before leaving. Drove from Fort Worth Texas to Oakland CA, no issues. (had a LOT of fun on the twisty roads around San Fran) The other day I started up the car, started driving, glanced down and saw the check engine light, brake system light, and the traction control light. I promptly pulled over and started looking for a honda dealership... thought to myself, if I take this in to be checked out, I should flash back to factory. So, pulled out my tablet, and flashed away... after the flash, all the indicators were back to normal. I've driven for about 500 miles since then, and no problems or warning lights.

I asked the technology lords at Ktuner what I should do, and I was told that without the error codes, they can't really tell me anything. Fair enough, that's understandable. How about just giving me a professional opinion, so I can have an idea of if I should try to flash again or if I should put the ktuner on ebay? Still no advice, I was told...

"There’s hundreds and hundreds of codes that cover all sorts of different issues and potential issues with the vehicle, sensors, engine, etc. Without additional information I can’t give you any advice on what may or may not come of it."

Again, that's understandable, but leaves me in the same place... not knowing what the hell to do.

So, anyone have any advice for me?

PS - driving to Big Basin state park outside of San Jose, using a little extra boost and throttle response, is a LOT of fun.

I highly doubt any of the lights or warning signs were caused by using Ktuner. It was most likely unrelated. I have been using Ktuner on 2 seperate vehicles for close to 5 years and never had a single problem.
As stated, try reflashing and see how it goes.

Those lights can come on for any number of reasons from anything like a low battery or the safety features resetting and initializing, to an actual issue with one of those systems. Ktuner is right, without a code they can't really tell you anything except to see if they go away when you flash stock, if not go to dealer, if so, try reflashing.

This has happened to me twice recently. I get all sorts of brake issue warnings and shortly after everything clears. I don't have any brake problems during or after everything feels normal. I am running k tuner.

@ankhaw I had the EXACT same thing as you. Check engine light, my remote start doesn't work (would start up for a second then it turns itself off). Then I flashed it for a few days and the lights disappeared and everything is good again. I emailed KTuner and they said it had something to do with the driver assist package:

KTuner Help Section said:
If you have driver assist technology packages some errors may stay until the vehicle is driven for a time so the modules can re-initialize. They lose communication during a flash and Honda stays on the safe side to not allow these to engage without passing checks during initialization.
