The elephant in the room is fuel supply.
Might as well spool the stock one into oblivion first.

Don't know how they're getting around the fueling issue with "no hardware modifications" (i.e. secondary fuel supply). Show me a dyno plot with this kit in the US on 93 making 480whp then I'll believe it.

They used methanol injection.

Stock fuel system supposedly tops out around 400whp (haven’t seen it yet, just heard this is the theoretical limit), so I have my doubts it could get another 80 whp with methanol injection. I’d like to be proven wrong though.

I'm just guessing, but I'd imagine that the methanol would allow them to run much more timing to make more power.

yea I run meth injection on my 8th gen SC. I just use the smallest nozzle and it keeps the iats down and able to run 2* more timing and we picked up 23whp. I didn't want the engine to rely on the meth incase something failed.

Looks like vit vipers blog is down. However he had a blog post that he did methanol on the Type R and made over 400hp. Don't recall the exact numbers.
