it probably doesn't need one. The chassis is most likely stiff enough to where a strut bar won't do much in the way of adding rigidity. The s2k for example doesn't have one and it is agreed that a strut bar does nothing for that car.

The car is stiff enough without one as others have said. You can jack up one corner of the car and get 3 wheels to come off the ground due to how little flex there is.

It's per design basis. Like other's have said, it probably doesn't need one in stock form. I'm sure the suspension engineers calculated all that in. It was a standard for older cars because, well, the chassis flexed a lot. As a side note, racers add or remove bars to be faster. Some people remove the front sway bar for fwd cars and some disconnect rear sway bars for rwd on the track. Some cars don't even come w/ a rear sway bars.

I've read Rear Sway bar is more important. They got it right.

I ordered it and can't wait to get it in 10 days.

no front sway bar is needed due to design of the chassis. the shock towers tie directly into the firewall, and this design provides plenty of rigidity and a strut bar will only compliment looks rather than any function.

Either you have swaybar and strut bar confused or you found a rear sway bar that I have not seen for the CTR

The general talk about the strut brace is that it is not needed if you don't use a set of coilovers. At the same time, maybe the car is rigid enough to pass this item.

A sway bar is an anti roll bar. It sits underneath the car.

new cars are not like the integras or civics in the 90s
the new cars are leeps and bounds stiffer. the use of high strength steel, newer design techs, etc.

you can tell just riding in the car its a very stiff chassis honda did a good job.

will a strut brace do anything? maybe. but it can help with the harmonics by joining the 2 strut towers together.

After buying and selling cars and parts, bolt on parts for autocross... i have come to the conclusion that unless these are rigidly mounted, they are a waste or money. some Chassis flex isnt a bad thing and like others have said, this car feels stiff as it is and had a good chassis under the car.

Anytime you have the strut towers that close to the firewall you really aren't going to benefit from a strut tower bar. The chassis is already rigid enough.
