Last week I witnessed a SUV hit a tire lying on the road going approx 70mph. It caused the rim to explode into chunks that flew underneath my car. This was on my way to work on a cold rainy morning. I checked my car once i got to the parking lot but didn't notice the damage in the picture until yesterday after a car wash. its on the lower passenger side of the front bumper underneath where the horn would be or slightly right of the fog lamp and below. I was thinking of just trying to get some matching vinyl wrap and cutting a small piece to go over it since the paint looks like its wanting to flake. Is that i good idea or should i get a bottle of touch up, knowing i would do a terrible job applying it.
