Wow that Audi looks terrible! You said it’s -40k? Lol your losing hard on that purchase. I saw a gorgeous Audi coupe today. If your gonna buy a car over 35k just get a coupe and be done with it. The civics are the best 4 doors on the market.
Ha ha ha ha. Made my day.

Yeah it looks like the A3 and the Civic (all models) have same reliability and owner satisfaction reports. Interesting. I didn’t look at Audi because of reliability...and cost to own. Must have Ben the year and model I was looking at.
Reliability is good, maintenance will still be quite higher, in the long run that is.

I love the looks of the M series as well. How do you like it?
I like it. Does everything well and most importantly it’s RWD. I’ve owned EVO X, STI, Golf R and while AWD is great for getting power down I’ve always had the most fun in RWD cars. There’s just that feeling that even AWD with yaw control can’t duplicate which is the ability to rotate the car with the gas pedal.

Yeah, I enjoy swinging the back end over too. Like riding my old YZ250. No disrespect, but the feel of driving a BMW is just so rigid and bumpy, you feel like you're not even on the pavement. Hope you were able to test drive it before you bought it.

Keep in touch and let us know what you think of the RS3. Its a fantastic car! I looked at those as well as the TTRS. My perfect car would be the Golf R with the RS 400HP motor and some body mods to make it look more interesting. The TT was too small and I wish the RS3 was a hatch.

I agree about the winter. I do miss my STI for the same reasons. The CTR handles just fine in the snow on winter tires but not if it really gets deep. I'm so afraid to smash the chin on an icy snow pile.

I'm not sure about why the negativity from some. Yes the CTR will likely handle better at 90%, but the RS3 should have more low end grunt and real world torque for fun daily driving.

I haven't owned an automatic in 20 years and haven't really tried a paddle shifting sports car. I don't know if I could do it......

I can't do it. I've passed up a lot of cars due to no manual.
