'08 Fit and a '01 Miata. Sold both and bought a '18 Si sedan. Not long after I bought a '08 Ridgeline as a suv/truck/towing/winter vehicle.

These are my two previous cars...first was the Lancer sportback Ralliart Wagon. Loved that car and always had heads turning. I wish it was manual. Got the Jetta and it was the 2.slow, but i had it sitting just right with the Cadiz wheels on it. Car was sharp.

I know this a month old post but damnn that wagon is clean! I can't help thinking that if you hung on to it, did an Evo front end/engine swap, with the 6 speed swap from an evo as well, you would have the ultimate unicorn wagon. Obviously all that would be crazy expensive, but the thought of it sounds amazing.

I have the number of the guy that bought it...wonder if he still has it. Very stupid of Mitsubishi to not make this a manual like they did with the Ralliart sedan. This car was great and very reliable. Did not burn oil or keep me stranded. Very good motor by Mitsu, but they should have put a manual in this from factory. I just got tired of driving auto and wanted something manual.

My STI was always my weekend car, and I got a chrysler 300c SRT8 to daily, then replaced it with a GX460... then sold that lexus.
I decided to drive my STI every day, but its too rough.. so I got a 2017 civic EX-T to daily and started to build my STI to make it a more fun weekend car, then I got bored of the CVT in the civic and traded it for my 2018 Si thats my daily now.

I like this combo a lot.

Last car was a BRZ. Lots of fun, but I have spinal issues that keep me from bending well, so I had to go for a bigger, easier to get in and out of car. I had a GTI, a Z4 before that.

Here's a list of cars that I've owned in the past and not including the vehicles that my wife drives. The car that was the absolutely the most fun to drive was my 1984 VW Rabbit GTI. That car was like a Go-Kart and didn't need a lot of power to embarrass people at the stoplight drag strips. I swapped in a 2L 16v engine from a 1990 Passat and it was even more fun to drive.

My current car is a 2018 Civic Si HFP as a company demo vehicle and even though I've only had it for a week I've fallen in love with it, I'll buy the car when its time to hand it back in actually.

2018 CR-V EX (demo)
1966 VW Type-3 Fastback (project car)
2014 Kia Optima Hybrid
2006 Volvo XC70
2002 Nissan Maxima SE (sleeper)
2000 Audi A4 1.8T
1995 Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon
2001 VW GTI VR6
2002 Chevy Avalanche
1992 Nissan 240SX Coupe KA-T (450hp)
1984 VW Rabbit GTI 2L 16V
1980 VW Rabbit
1984 VW Jetta (winter beater)
1992 Honda Civic LX
1985 Honda Civic hatch
1982 Honda Civic 5-dr hatch
1980 Ford Fairmont (first car)

I traded my 2012 Volvo T5 S60 in for a 2019 Civic EX Hatch. I was prepared for major disappointment but I was pleasantly surprised when I test drove the car. There are aspects of the Civic that I prefer. At first I missed some of the power of my S60, but after adjusting my driving a bit, I can accelerate with this car just as well. It's actually more fun to drive.

My cars were:
'83 Chevette (manual)
'81 VW Quantum (manual)
<here is where I started getting my cars new>
'90 Honda Civic DX Hatch (manual)
'96 Honda Accord LX Sedan (manual)
'00 Toyota 4Runner SR5 (manual)
'07 Volvo S40
'12 Volvo S60 T5
'19 Honda Civic EX Hatch

Having come full circle with the Civic hatch is interesting. My first Civic treated me well, but they are lightyears ahead of what they once were!

Damn, some of you have long and interesting lists of cars. I had an s2000 for about 4 years and started to feel the need to get something new for once. Stupidly decided to sell it and buy a 2017 sti. Traded the sti 10 months into ownership for the 2017 si. I only say "stupidly" because I found out the hard way that I much more enjoy smaller/lighter cars.

I originally wanted to get an evo 10 at the time since there were still some FE's on the lot at some places. But those models didn't have the Recaro seats anymore and when I happened to stop by a subaru dealership one day I just thought an sti would be a good choice instead. I enjoyed that the sti was powerful, and it definitely still handled better than most other cars around, but for some reason it just didn't really excite me and it was just too heavy of a car for me to enjoy it the way I think I'm used to. Settled on an si just to have something nice enough while still being economical as a daily. My next move will be to get a used brz/frs as a weekend car and mod it heavily. I need something like an s2000 again but more modern and practical.
