Hey, now that I have been running with the KTuner Dual tune for a few weeks, I would like to do a few more upgrades to my CVT and would like to confirm first if I could continue to use the Dual Tune provided without modifying anything.

I already have a GReddy SP Exhaust. Im looking to get an Intercooler by either PRL or Mishimoto and possibly a Catted Downpipe.

I appreciate any info. Thanks
Yes you can use the same base map. Its made to handle all those upgrades. If you want to maximize those mods, then a custom tune would be better though

LOL I just logged in for the first time since posting this and seems like the threads taken off. I had a few more questions if you guys dont mind me asking. I'll be picking up that ktuner in about 2 months once I have my money saved up. Has anyone dynoed the manual LX and figured out the gain in terms of horsepower and torque? I'm also looking into the downpipe from RV6, worth it?

These are the number on a 6MT. The top one is on stage 1 18 psi and the second dyno is Stage 2 21psi

Dallas, I think he was asking about the 2.0 LX model.

whoops,
Welp here

Maybe I'm reading the graph wrong, but does it not show that the tune makes no gains. It's 158 WHP stock, but the highest I see is 150hp on the graph. I'm new to all this and have never read a graph like that before so I'm probably just not reading it inorrectly.

The two points on the graph, and the numbers shown for them, pinpoint the largest gain seen. Honda advertises crank hp, not wheel hp.

It is 158 hp at the crank. The whp is probably something like 15% lower.

what honda advertises as stock hp and what makes it to the wheels can be two different numbers. The dotted are what the stock car dyno'd on that dyno and the solid line is what it dyno'd with the ktuner tune

That makee more sense, thank you! Is that the case for all makers, advertising power at the crank rather than at the wheels? I'm also curious to see if anyones done 0-60 pulls after the tune. That 8.3 seconds must have come down somewhat.

Where's the best place to buy a KTuner online?
Ebay if you want the best deal. They often run 15% off everything deals. I saved like $95 on my V2. Otherwise all other online authorized Ktuner retailers sell them for full list price.

I have a 2016 LX. My tune is coming today and I can post 0-60 times. It's a CVT though. I got 8 flat with my current setup.
