4 year 50.....I was also looking at the Golf R- Again AWD. 6 year 72. It made more sense to go with the Audi
Another thing to add is that a lot of people will also buy a German certified pre-owned vehicle for the small extended warranty they get and may also add an extended warranty on top of that. With Audi, if I'm not mistaken, it's an unlimited mile 1 year warranty that begins immediately after your factory warranty ends. Dealerships will also offer extended warranties past this.

Wow that Audi looks terrible! You said it’s -40k? Lol your losing hard on that purchase. I saw a gorgeous Audi coupe today. If your gonna buy a car over 35k just get a coupe and be done with it. The civics are the best 4 doors on the market.

You do know CTR is over 35k and is not a coupe. Also this is the CTR forum. Just saying.

I'm curious why you feel this way... There are plenty of cars over 35k that have more than 2 doors and are great... Focus RS, Golf R, Subaru WRX STI, Civic Type R, Stinger, Giulia Quadrifoglio, Charger Hellcat, M3, M5...

Because unless it’s a Lexus a 4 door car is a middle class family vehicle. Its not for looks just for practicality. Spending 35k to take your kids to school is just a complete waste of money. Just get an si and spend the other 10k upgrading the seats and engine a voila you have It’s like the lambo suv they have. Who would bother taking a 300,000 dollar car off road? It’s ridiculous. If you need space there are way cheaper options. But I looked up that audi and it looks like Audi put their worst designer on that car.

I don’t think ctrs are worth 35k either and I hate the hatchback. Apparently you can easily get 375 hp out of an si so the ctr is really not that impressive anymore. If I had 35k I’d probably get a mustang or si and upgrade.

Enjoy. I fear you’ll end up spending more on maintenance. They aren’t renowned for their reliability. Either way, I understand the need to change cars.
Reliability will be fine, Audi is ranked third overall which is higher than Honda.

Your argument makes no sense and overlooks what Honda intended. The R is based of a FWD economy car while the Mustang is a RWD performance car. Modded anything isn't comparable either...

It’s holds the world record around the Nürburgring which it was designed for making it a bargain for the price.

Oh, shut up!
Have fun hating on everything in your crappy 1.5T.

I have a family, so a coupe is a no go. Audi's hold their value extremely well here in the Northeast. To me, the CTR is a track car that operates best in track like conditions. I bought the RS3 because it best fits my needs. Not disrespecting the CTR at all, I loved it. You need to be a bit more flexible in your thinking my friend.

Horsepower isn’t the whole story.

Yeah it looks like the A3 and the Civic (all models) have same reliability and owner satisfaction reports. Interesting. I didn’t look at Audi because of reliability...and cost to own. Must have Ben the year and model I was looking at.

Getting 375hp out of an Si doesn’t make it a CTR. Even spending $10k on an Si will not make it a CTR. I know I own both. Love both for different reasons. As far as spending $35k on the CTR versus a Mustang your dead wrong. I actually made that choice. I had a 460hp 2018 Mustang GT Premium lined up. Even had a deposit on it. Then I drove the CTR. The Mustang is great in a straight line, but it’s a boat on a curvy road. You get what you pay for with the CTR. Ito worth the extra money.

Now as to the ops predicament, the CTR doesn’t work. Sounds like the Audi is just the thing he needs for not much more money. I looked at the Infinity Red Sport AWD, similar car to the Audi..it was fun.
