yes, absolutely!

i did gtechniq crystal lacquer ceramic coating on mine as you can see why they shine.
I don't have any ceramic coatings but I do have some Adam's paint sealant and Adam's Americana and Buttery waxes. I also have their Brilliant Glaze as well.

It looks like they believe that the extra layer of gloss will come off with washing and sun exposure. How difficult do we think it would be to mechanically remove in one session?

Risk is high that heat will alter the underlying material. You’d need to get at least enough friction to actually take it off, and I believe the surface is still textured.

A solvent is a better idea but you might as well just take off all the clear coat and then re coat.
If this is what they refer to as “gloss”.

Hmm, maybe I'll try to wash my front lip, see if that makes it less glossy. That'd be easier than trying to deal with Honda dealership.
