You will either need to purchase some connectors like this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01LZF1ZSZ/ref=oh_aui_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
or purchase a connector to plug into homelink. For more info see this thread https://www.civicx.com/threads/oem-homelink-install.4683/

I went with the amazon "jumper wire" connectors and can include some with the unit.

FYI both methods will require you to splice into 3-4 wires.

Why did you want to get rid of it, are you selling you Si?

What did you use to paint it?

jw howd u paint it to make the dots look decent? i cant get mine right.

I completely took apart the housing and buttons and painted a good 6-8 light coats.

The buttons aren't perfectly round but all i did was, after about an hour of drying, i used a utility knife to "scratch" the paint off the white dotted parts. Looks fine from the driver position and since I wired it to illuminate, they lighted up nicely.
