Mine was supposed to be delivered today too but USPS was slacking. Will have to pick it up from the post office tomorrow.

Any tips for removing the cables from the OEM shifter housing? Last time I tried this was with the Alta shifter cable lockdown and I couldn't get them out. I know there's supposed to be a tab or something that gets pushed in, but I can't seem to find it and I don't want to break or bend anything....

All I can say is use a flat head screwdriver and take your time and be patient. They gave me the most difficulty too to the point I was swearing. They’re even harder to get back into the new shifter housing.

Wonder if someone would be kind enough over the next few days (while the first batch is getting in there) to take some pics of the tab or point out exactly where you're supposed to jam the screwdriver to pry em out. Not looking forward to that part, I remember mine being stuck in there pretty good last time I tried. Otherwise I'll try to remember to upload some if/when I figure it out haha.

At least it's (hopefully) a one time job!

This thing is beefy!!! Looks amazing. Install was pretty straight forward. I’ve realized now with a tighter setting I prefer more of a cylinder style shift (waiting for the colored knobs). Have got any miles on it yet, but I’ll report back shortly once I dail in the settings to my preference.

Silly question, how much of the adjustability can be accessed without removing the entire console? I don't have any problem yanking off the shifter bezel, but tearing the entire console apart is getting old. Hoping to only do that one more time ::fingerscrossed::

Knob height and maybe gate spacing

Believe you can only get to the knob height adjustment. You'll definitely want to make sure you have your adjustments where you want them before you put everything back together. It's pretty easy to get it dialed in to where you want everything. Just put your shift knob back on and off as you make adjustments. Little bit of advice, don't go below 1 on the knob height as it makes 1st and 2nd gear extremely difficult to get in and out of.

The acuity pdf install has a couple pics where they circle and show where you need to put your flathead in to push and rotate. Just be patient with it and watch their videos on their acuity page and also pawinn (spelling) who helps do videos for them.

Pretty much what I figured, but a guy can dream. Thanks for the responses. Looks like I'll be dialing in before reassembly.

Got her in and wow what a beauty! Awesome customer service too. Only snag I ran into was the shifter cables but I always have trouble with those blasted things. I kept my settings fairly default and knob fairly low. Car feels so direct now. 1st and 2 will definitely take a little getting used to but no slop or play at all. Every shift feels direct. The satisfying click into each gear puts a smile on my face. :). Love @ACUITY products! Been waiting for this since the 10th gen platform came out and it delivered on all my expectations.

I believe we spoke on IG, but the issue you're having with 1/2 is because the shift knob height is set below the "1" setting. Adjusting to "1" or higher will remedy the issue.

I hightly recommend using a flashlight and looking closely at the mechanism. Watch our video here (click here) and go to around 4:10. It shows some good examples of getting the cable out up close.

Height and rotation of the knob position can be adjusted by removing the bezel around the shift boot that holds the buttons. It's pretty quick. To adjust throw or gate spacing, the full console must be removed. When installing, take some times to play with the gate and throw adjustments and test shift before reinstalling the console. Also, if you want a longer-term test, you can actually omit the lower, large plastic portion of the console, reinstalling only the metal support bar behind the shifter and the upper parts of the console. We drove like this A TON during development of the shifter so we could access it quickly for adjustments and tests.

Sooo finally got a chance to install the new shifter today and again I'm blown away by the quality of acuity's products. I'm probably just parroting the other reviews so far, but I think @baldheadracing is pretty spot on with his characterization of the stage 2 kit vs the full assembly.

The adjustability is crazy and the whole assembly is very solid from end to end. I really noticed how beefy the new centering spring is after finding that there's no play in neutral anymore. Even coming from the stage 2 kit, everything is so much more direct and firm.

After checking out the install instructions and the updated video to remove the shifter cables, everything was pretty much a breeze. If you've installed the stage 2 kit, this shouldn't be any different.

I also left my settings pretty conservative for now, I initially tried the spacing at about 75~80% and found it way too tight. For now it's closer to the stage 2 throw/gate distances (like 60%), with the throw being a bit shorter, but will probably tighten things up again in the future when I get used to the directness. Either way, its great that all the possibilities reside in a single product! Thanks Acuity!
